Please note that we do not deliver ready mix currently at this time.

    • What types of concrete are there?

Concrete is actually the name given to the material made using a mixture of sand, cement, and aggregates. When mixed with water in the correct proportions it forms a robust and durable material.

Concrete is a strong and versatile material widely used in the construction industry. It's used for building projects such as skyscrapers, landscaping, runways, bridges, and dams. Additional materials, like steel wire mesh, can be added to the mix to increase its strength and ability to handle heavy loads.

    • How long does it take for concrete to set?

Concrete goes through a curing process that is subject to weather conditions; it can take several days or weeks to cure fully. Following your contractor's advice upon installation is important and don't use a driveway until you have been told it is cured and ready to used for foot or vehicle traffic.

    • Can concrete be poured in the cold or in the rain?

We do not recommend pouring concrete in temperatures below 50 degrees; however, this is not a problem in Palm Beach Country, FL, given the warm climate. In colder climates, concrete is affected by frost and thaw cycles. Here, over time the water can seep into the concrete and, through expansion and contraction, can weaken the concrete.

We can insulate or cover the concrete during the curing process if needed. Once the concrete is set, it cannot freeze. We take pride in our customer service and work with you to ensure schedules are on track with minimal disruption. The key here is to plan and work with qualified, knowledgeable contractors.

    • What is the cost to install concrete for my project?

A new driveway installation for a 1000 Sq Ft area can cost between $4-$7 per square foot for a plain concrete driveway. This goes up to $18 per square foot for a colored or stained design and stamped concrete installation and higher for more bespoke designs.  Call now to discuss with our friendly team.To get free quote, call us for an estimate. Costs  vary depending on the type of job, area  of installation/repair, and the kind of design. Plain concrete is usually the cheapest option. Adding colored or stamped concrete designs increases the cost.
